I’m hearing the same thing about twitter. but it was an Indian newspaper so didn’t wanna get flamed. 
The thing is, ‘blasphemy’ was intentionally started as some kind of contest. How else would they convince the brainless Pakistani goats & ninjas to get the internet banned? So basically, ‘making these sites were offensive to muslims’ was an intentional reason just to have all the sources of knowledge & information banned in Pakistan including the internet.

As I said. There was also life without facebook and without youtube.
Well youtube ban is a bit odd as it also serves some nice tutorials and news from different sources.
Although facebook is a social network and not an infotainment.
