A great asset to Pakistan cricket but he is no comparison to Miandad as yet.
He is more like a Tendulkar of Pakistan, who is mostly the best player in the team but never fires in big matches.
Excellent player. The youngsters can learn a lot from him. He is hardworking. Elegant batsman, very good fielder and very good attitude unlike our ** “super stars” ** he doesn’t get involved in controversial situations. I like the way he paces his innings. Most of the time he starts of slow, very watchfully. Then after he has the eye set he launches into the bowling attack.
It feels weird to actually agree with ChthonicPowers after our long arguments in the Razzaq thread.
hes a great player....no doubt bout that
as far as the comparison wit miandad is concerned....he cudve got there if he was tried out earlier.....he came in pretty late
nyway.....hes an excellent player!
ill never forget the six he hit on the last ball against india.....he was on 94....that was really great!
n off the field.....hes a pretty decent guy...!!
gd stuff! i dint knew he was so consistent. to have an ave. of over 53 for 2 yrs is quite an achievement. he also figures in both the odi and test lists. kudos to him.

Youhana is probably my favourite player in this team though his performance in this series really disappointed me. Not because he didn't perform but because he performed mainly in lost causes. There are many players in the world known for playing like champions when the game's lost and I don't want Youhana to become one of them.
I still have a lot of confidence in him. He's too good a player to let this lean patch last for long.
Are u guyz kidding me...masi is the most selfish player out there...i cant recall any innings from him lately in which he saved pakistan from defeat. just take the last test for example, when a crucial partnership with asim was needed, he just threw away his wicket. trust me, hez just after the captaincy
…lashed out at Pakistan vice captain Yousuf Youhana for playing for personal milestones than the team.
“There was also Yousuf Youhana, who seemed to come into his own only when there was nothing but personal milestones to play for. When he reached 48 today you knew that he was thinking of having a good knockabout when nothing was left in the game,”
