Okay imagine I have a time machine that can take you back to any time in history… and I happen to be a really ceepy and mean evil scientist type… not that I am… but anyway.
I have to power to sieze you and throw you back in time at any historical period whatsoever.
What would you be most scared of being sent to and why?

If the question is for worst (nightmare) then it would be era of Tatari attacks on Baghdad. Halakoo and Changez ( Naam hi kafi hai). There must be a smily for 'Khopriyon ke minar'.
If you ask where I want to go back in history. I would consider myself most luckiest and privileged person on the earth to go to Hazrat Muhammad's (SAW) period.

What would you be most scared of being sent to and why?
I would be most scared of being an Indian who actually did suffer the Holocaust in the real sense of the word. Their whole tribes were annihilated by Americans.
I would also be scared of being a Japanese in Hiroshima/ Nagasaki when the same people inflicted the most barbaric weapon on common people.

I think for a Muslim, to be in late 15th century Spain (Andlus) just before and after the end of Muslim rule, is one of the biggest nightmare of history.

the biggest nightmare for me is when i see 'shirk' taking roots in Islam in the sub-continent and becoming more and more popular by the hour. i wonder what the situation will be 50 years from now! May Allah saves us all from this fitnaa. aameen
