Do you think the Dr. Zakir Naik is the only person who started comparing other religions trying to prove that he's the best by selective interpretation? I doubt that. Here is a quick glimpse from the History.
I would not have anything against Zakir Naik if he was trying to learn about other scriptures or promote religious harmony among different religions. The fact that he misinterprets and lies about other religions to showcase his religion as the best is what implies his knowledge, integrity and character is suspect.
If we read history then we'll came to know that the Muslims were completely ignorant of the scriptures of the Hindus. They looked upon them and their Avatars contemptuously 'as infidel without religion', and believed in that the 'Hindu religion' is a corrupt religion, but in 1924 or earlier to that, some Muslim encouraged other Muslims to read the Hindu Scriptures which advented about the Last Prophet PBUH. Not only Muslims but also Hindus were encouraged to learn from their own scripture books and find the true salvation in the form of Islam .
Sorry to rain in your parade but no other Hindu scripture even mentions your prophet other than Bhavishya Purana where he is lets say not portrayed in a flattering manner. I challenge you to read the Bhavishya purana and post its translation here and you will know what I mean. Avatars are not similar to prophets in anyway. Prophets are normal human beings touched by divinity like Jesus or Shankaracharya. Avatar is God come in human form to lead man. Though he takes a human form he is completely divine. We don't have the concept of "last avatar" or "last prophet". Our God has promised us that he will incarnate in era to era to lead human beings on the right path. So if our religion has become corrupted then God will come again as many times as it takes to lead man when corruption reaches intolerable levels.
So there is a vast difference in our ideologies. Believe what you will. I cannot say that your belief in Islam is wrong and my belief in Hinduism is right. But please don't presume to compare Dharmic and Abrahamic religions. There is no comparison. They are as different as apples and oranges. You also don't have to struggle and lie to validate your religion through another religion's sacred texts . People like Zakir Naik are public speakers. They have a certain responsibility to get their facts checked and backed up. By lying they are just propagating untruths as truths and cheating their listeners. After all a lie that is belived by 90% of the people as the truth does not become a truth. It remains a lie.
To those who blindly believe in Dr. Zakir Naik's theory that hindu scriptures predicted the coming of the Holy Prophet as last messenger of GOD. Plz think for a while. Those scriptures date back to thousand of years. We believe that apart from Holy Quraan, all scriptures have been corrupted by passage of time. Now how come that a corrupted scripture of thousands of years, can give us such exact prediction of coming of the Holy Prpohet? This is something unheard of. And by believing the fabricated translation of the scripture, we are giving them undue importance and legitimacy.
This is only to alert those who want to be alerted.

I didn't expect this logic of thousand years old scripture from a Muslim at least. Haven't you read Sura e Saf in Quran, where Isa (AS) is telling his followers about coming of a Prophet with the name of 'Ahmed'. In Sura e Baqra and at many other places it is mentioned that Jews recognise the Prophet and his being Prophet, as they recognise their children. How could Quran (that we Muslim believe is the word of God) talk about such things, if that were not present in Jews scriptures also revealed thousand years ago?

Logic of thousand years old corrupted scripture, and show me any other scripture which predicts something with such accuracy? His Name, His mother's name, his father's name, his birth place. But I must say that these are my views and I stick to it, may be wrong too.
Please note that what i’m sharing here shall not taken it in any sense that I degrade you or your belief, nor I intend to offend you or anyone else in any sense. Reminding myself as well others that the topic flow went to what Dr. Zakir Naik said and i’m trying to highlight some fact from history (books) that not only Dr. Zakir said such thing but there are many others respectable personalities who said similar things even before him.
For example: I’m not sure but I think in 1970 or in 1998, a detailed book about ‘Kalki Avatar’ was written by a Gold Medalist Brahman Hindu Pandith Dr. Ved Parakash Upadhyay, that book i guess is certified by many religous giants and scholars as true. Some name of those religious giants and scholars are: ‘Swami Vivekanand’, ‘Gurunanak Sahib’, ‘Pt. Sunder Lal’, etc., also in this book Pandith Dr. Ved parakash used reference of another book “Vedic Sahitaya: Eik Vivachan”, written by Pradeep Prakashan.
If I’m not wrong the Pandith Dr. Ved Parakash Upadhyay, who is a Gold Medalist Brahman Hindu, wrote in his book (with references) that ‘kulki avatar’ is in fact referring to the advent of the ‘last prophet aka last avatar’ and not referred to any God who will incarnate by Himself. The references of Purana and Gita or Veda is also used in this book as explanation.
All I’m trying to say here that Dr. Zakir Naik said so many times that come to the similarities which are among us, we’ll discuss the diffference tomorrow and that the whole point and that what he’s doing.
And I’m agreed with you here that we have a certain responsibility to get their facts checked and backed up. Now please tell how much fact is in there what Pandith Dr. Ved Parakash Upadhyay hav said/written.
If you read my post again and then your comments, you'll come at a point which I already posted earlier at post#36 & 39 that we will be in need to come to a word that is equitable between us and others, ofcoz with help of different religious book with only one purpose that we will not worship except One God and we shall cooperate with each others in righteousness and piety, but not sin and aggression, as stated in many religious books/scriptures.
Why should anyone dictate how many Gods can be worshipped. No need to come to any agreement on this. To each his own. Including athiests.
People who don't Zakir Naik are usually the innovators (biddatis), grave worshippers, pir types and blind followers. He presents everything with evidence, but some thick skulls could care less for that. Others who don't like him are the Shias who hate the Sahabis of rasool allah SAW as he defends the Sahabis. So the Shias don't like him either.

Blind followers! Does anyone see the irony here?
Anyway double Sri is also a phony. He was mentioned earlier.

That is what is wrong with Zakir Naik and his brain-dead followers. And that is how a takfiri khariji is defined.
Be aware of such mufsideen. They will wish for your death even while seemingly talking nice to you. And this warning is for all Muslims and non-Muslims.
Ahle biddat have never liked the people of ahle sunnah. All they can do is talk. He refutes with evidence from Quran and Sunnah, while the evidence for the ahle biddat and grave worshippers is that their peer or maulana or imam said so.
Khawarij have always done takfir on Muslims using oneness of God as an excuse. They went so far as to kill renowned Sahaba and ahle bait like Ali, declaring them kafir and mushrik.
This mentality has continued till today. Unfortunate for Islam.
May God protect Muslims and Islam from these mufsideen.
