In the tradition of mixing creatures and characters you’d never thought you’d see together – like Supergator, Dinoshark, Gatoroid, Sharktopus and Crocosaurus facing off in a fierce battle to the deadly end – comes Indican Pictures’ ‘Bonnie & Clyde vs. Dracula.’](Bonnie & Clyde vs. Dracula (2008) - IMDb) Roger Corman did it, so what’s stopping director Tim Friend from doing it? Nothing, apparently, and he’s even managed to get a theatrical release of March 18 (according to MovieLine) for his gangster tale meets bloodsucking fiends.
Scream queen Tiffany Shepis and horror actor/writer/director Trent Haaga star as the iconic couple, who also happen to be cold-blooded killers. When a botched robbery injures one of their cohorts, Bonnie and Clyde seek help at a nearby mansion – home of the strange and macabre Dr. Loveless and his imprisoned sister, Annabel. The Doctor has another secret in his cellar, though – the ancient vampire Dracula.
If you were curious what sexy 1930’s gangster molls and gothic creatures of the night looked like together, well, this is your chance to see it – and it appears to be a fun, killer combination. Check out the trailer below and let us know if vamps and robbers will put you in a theater seat.
