If you’re married, did you ever have a type in mind for the kind of person you wanted to marry? I’m speaking only about physical preferences here…not character/goals etc…and if so, did you end up marrying your type?

If you’re single, do you have a type? can you envision marrying your type?

What were your types anyway?

Also were they love or arranged marriages and if arranged did you tell your parents your type or get lucky :D

I wanted someone tall who had broad shoulders, and that is who I got Alhamdulilah. It was a love marriage.

i hadnt any type or that stuff in my mind when getting agreed on marriage. the idea wasnt really appealing so there wasnt much excitement. Husband however is very handsome ma sha Allah, we complement each other well, and some say he is ever more good looking then me. some would say that to him about me as well. at the end of the day, we thank Allah for having each other because more than looks, our personalities match.

All I wanted was tall husband color didn’t matter to me I usually like brown, so AH I got it. :blush:

I'm single and I do have a preferred type but every woman I come across as my preferred type is already taken :(
