According to you who are the people who committed the worst crimes in history?

Who are your top 5 “bad guys” and why?

My personal top five bad guys are as follows these are probably not the worst people in my mind becuase I believe there may be many more worse or equally evil individuals.
but these stand out in my mind immediately.
Abu Jahil... for obvious reasons since among the first Muslim followers of the Phrophet Abu Jahil was the enemy of Islam... RasoolAllah gave him that name and so he surely deserves that.

Yazid bin Mauwiyah.... for his atrocities at Karbala.

Hulagu Khan.... I rate him worse than Ghengis on the grounds that at least Ghengis may have had reasons for fighting his enemies so savagely, he lived a terrible childhood and knew no other way to live than to strike back with utter brutality... even when Ghengis fought Sha Alaudin of Kwarezm Ghengis may have been provoked into war first. But Hulagu went on a Crusade against Muslims for no reason other than the fact his mother was Christian and did not like Muslims.... where Ghengis killed for revenge or becuase he had been shamed or hurt... Hulagu killed simply for sport.

Prime minister Chao Kao of the Chin Empire who's treachery led to the collapse of China's first dynasty.

President Ariel Sharon for his massacres against Palestinians, he was sentenced never to hold office again... yet made it to president later in life.

I object to your “Bad Guys” thinking!
Its discriminatory and offensive to all the ‘bad guys’ out there and should have equal opportunities for ‘Gals’ as well to compete :cobra:

Cant think of any woman who would be deserving of this “honor”. Unfortunately, we guys have to acknowledge that most of the problems are the result of guys being bad actors.

But no harm in opening up the list to include gals also. Cat argue with the logic. So let me milao haa mein haa with Faris and say

Just to redress the balance, here are 5 female historical villains which you dont want to meet…

  1. Countess Elizabeth Bathory… Ever heard of Count Dracula, well the Historical Dracula really did exist but even his cruelty does not match thie Hungarian Tyraness who ruled from her mansion and bathed in the blood of her Maids… she had a torture chamber full of the most ghastly articles you can imagine, a panapoly fit to scare the most vile of male tyrants.

  2. Cleopatra the seductress who used beauty to ensare two Roman leaders and killed all in who stood in her way to gain power…

  3. Catherine the Great the Russain Queen who deposed her husband and who’s cruel Tyranny was well known.

  4. Ching Shih the female Chinese pirate of the South China Sea, if you have ever heard of the murder by death of a thousand cuts, Shih was the most prolific user of this torture method and supposedly chewed her victims body organs while interogating them… yuck.

  5. And just to mention a personality within living memmory and one fammiliar to the Desi community one cannot forget Phoolan Devi, she is fammously known as the Bandit Queen and was Indias most famous female Dacoit, while like others before and since she may have been justified in some of her violent actions… she still comes across as a more brutal murderer than most men in India. :hehe:

Well just thought I’d mention a few femmale villains to redraw the balance.
