Calling spouse a best friend?
Thats insulting the spouse relation.
(Even the best friend may not be there when someone is old and frail)
Re: Your spouse as ur best friend!
I actually never believed in having best friends, rather I have a few very close friends; which works out quite well for me. But if you really want to call it that, then yes, my spouse is my best friend. Though, he thinks otherwise. :D

Worst friend

Best Dushman?:D
Re: Your spouse as ur best friend!
Even though we have only been married for 7 months, my husband has been my best friend since the last 7 years ever since we were in high school. We were close friends before we fell in love with each other and I am so happy it happened that way because friendship is very important in any relationship. Apart from him and my sister, I wouldn’t call anyone a best friend.. a few close friends yes, but there’s noone besides him in this world who knows me inside out or is there for me the way he is. We share everything, even the smallest insignificant details of our day, and he’s like my brain- I call him for even the smallest decisions I have to make. I can be very indecisive at times and he’s always there to advice me. Even if I am sad or happy at 3 am, I can call him and he will stay up to speak to me. He takes care and looks out for me in every way.. making sure I eat, take multivitamins, pay my bills, etc etc.. like even the smallest stuff, he will remember because I tend to be very carefree and he knows that. So yeah, never really felt the need to have another ‘best friend’ because I am lucky I found one in my life partner, alhumdulillah

No doubt. He is my best friend, someone I can count on 100%, someone I feel can fill my gaps. He's always there for me.

Re: Your spouse as ur best friend!
My spouse is so much more than a best friend. Someone that I share my mind, body and soul with. I don't think a friend could do that.
When you have kids together - the relationship transends even the best of friendships. The other person almost beomes the your other half.
