**It is not unusual for our senses to weaken as we age. But a surprising study has now claimed that losing your sense of smell when you are older could mean that your time is nigh, Daily Mail reported.
Scientists from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago found that a person is likely to be alive a few years later if he can correctly identify the different everyday odours today, the report said.
