Re: your ROOM after Shadi
that room looks out of a magazine! mA!
yeh to kisi hotel ka kamra lagta hai.![]()
that is a pretty room, but it’s also a big room. you have to keep in mind the size of a room when decorating. usually the rooms in pakistan aren’t of big sizes, and much space is taken over by closets, so when deciding on furniture you have to take in account the size of furniture and accessories such as side tables, pictures, plants etc.
Re: your ROOM after Shadi
I like bedrooms with lots of english country furniture, floral bedding, quilts, big silk lamp shades with trimming , big flower vases, and floral paintings.

Re: your ROOM after Shadi
Bed rooms are for sleeping in. You can't see what color the ealls are or the floral stuff while sleeping.
Women waste too much tim on this sorta useless stuff.
Ps. For the sake of peace and harmony I let my better half decide all colors decors fabrics lighting furniture the whole thing. Only condition in return I got to pick the bathroom everything - I let my daugher do that for me.
Now I can relax in peace when I want and not hear that ".......)Ou know what we should do !la bla bla" everytime I sit down with a scoth for a read
When you are in a rented apartment, you dont have much choice in terms of paint etc. Plus sometimes the bedrooms are so tiny. We only have a bed, a dressng table and a side table in our bedroom but its wood and bulky, so there is no space for anything else really.
Regarding themes and decorations, it depeds on your husband/inlaws. If you are living without inlaws , still you have to consider your husband's preferences. My husband likes to have his input too. I remember, once we were buying wall clocks adn we both liked different ones. So we bought both. Then we had to decide which one goes where. Its been a year and he still dislikes "my" wall clock but otehr people who visit love it a lot. Last time someone said it looked nice, he said i should have told them to take it with them, lol.
Thats funny. But I do agree with ur point, have to consider husban's/inlaw's choice/preferences too. and ya, really not much choice at all when u r renting cuz nt enough space in most cases.
I’m a big fan of dark modern furniture and open spaces with minimalist approach. I like the floors white, walls light mocha and touch of red in the room to intensify things. I love simple white oval/square/round plates. I rent an apartment and have been staying at the same apartment for the past five years. I pretty much have everything the way I want it but I can’t have the floors white and walls light mocha
I’ll have to wait till I buy my condo but my ideal bedroom would be something like this…
I know what you mean sara! Its different when live with inlaws. Thank god for my own place now!! ![]()
