how important is it to you
I have a 61 year old manager who I respect and I’m learning a lot from him but the best thing at work is I really get on with him
It goes a long way if you get on with your manager
He is pakistani which is a bonus, like a father figure, he cracks up jokes, invites me into his office for gupshup, tea when it was not ramadhan and is very chilled out, How important is your relationship with your manager ??

How do you get along with your manager? Do you skip with him side by side holding flowers while the breeze blows your hair into his/her face??

My manager is over 400 miles away, in another country.
He's distant in more ways than one, but it means I'm the man on the spot and have a huge amount of autonomy.

Ditto. The only difference is, that my manager is more than 1000 miles away. He is in Madrid, Spain and I am in Vienna, Austria.

i love my ex boss she awsome boss u can have.
but i won't be working anymore over there other wise i would love work with her.

MGR's can be scary sometimes....i had a manager at my old job who always tried to hit on me and then he really came after me like a miniac....ahhhhhh i had to quit cuz i didnt accept his offer (of being his g/f) and before i left i told boss about the situation...hehe and he got it really bad.
P.S. having good professional relationship with ur mgr is really important cuz otherwise, its hard to work in an unfriendly environment.
