Depends on how interesting I find it. I can read them in a couple of days if I am really into them.

Wow thats a lot! I could never rote learn :(

My speed is quite fast. If the book isn't interesting I would stop reading it but I cannot slow read anything.

I've been an avid reader for many years so I usually finish off heavy books within a couple of nights. I've completed finger-thin reading material in around 90 minutes. Some books however, tend to be content and plot heavy which restrains my speed in a way because I have to take a minute or two just to analyze and process what I'm reading.

In other words, you are saying that ‘Naseem Hijazi’s’ novels are page turner. I read ‘Qaisar o Kisra’ in a week.

no.....i read alif lela hazar daastan (in childhood), Jannat k pattay by nimrah ahmad, qassas ul ambia etc in same style :)

ohhhhh in one week......thats not a big novel i can read easily in one day with all other jobs (ladies ko chutti walay din bhi puri chutti nai hoti :) )

actually yesterday i purchased Qaiser o Kisra and waiting for sunday :)

Yeah this is my average reading speed...I can read much faster if the genre is fiction and text is simple.
