Crime can never be justified. They could have just shot the muggers in the leg you know. Eye for an eye, this murder was uncalled for. Those people were harmless after your friends disarmed them. Stay away from these friends and also consider reporting them otherwise you will be accused of being complicit in the crime.

We all have a devil inside of us. And dirty little secrets.

Re: Your Reaction To A Friend Who Has Committed A Murder …

I wouldn’t call the cops as a principle if he is really a good friend of mine.
He took revenge as a one-off incident in rage, anger, or extreme repulsion of some sort towards a specific person. He is not a danger to society because he is not a professional killer.

I’d have a talk with him to see if he deeply regrets it . But, If he is proud of it and arrogant with it he will likely do it again so I will report him and get him arrested and be a witness against him.

The best viewpoint so far. Finely aligned with reason and logic.

Re: Your Reaction To A Friend Who Has Committed A Murder ...

I been think about it lately. One of my close relative was robbed at gun point. Person robbed has served in military and took shooting sports.

Had he anticipated the event, he could have confronted them.

Then point is when its ok to attack an attacker ??????
1-Is other person shooting at you is the reason enough?
2-Is other person pointing gun on your face is the reason enough ?

Or you have to be sitting duck.. because in most cases robbers don't kill you ?

Re: Your Reaction To A Friend Who Has Committed A Murder ...

Being at gun point is reason enough to act out in defense, but remember, defense turns into offence when the likelihood of danger comes to an end.

Re: Your Reaction To A Friend Who Has Committed A Murder …

What revenge? After they disarmed the miscreants, they were harmless. They didnt harm them in any way. They probably scared the sh*t out of them, but that was that. Eye for an eye, remember?
