Did you prepare any list of prediction/expectations in this WC?
I used spreadsheet, and out of 42 (first round) games, following are results:
Correct: 31/42 = 73.80 %
Result affected by rain caused error: 03/42 = 0.071 = 7.1%
Wrong: 8/42 = 19.04 %
What were your results, if any?
u ain't getting the message.
This world cup has lost its charm....now no statistic or anything can excite in the final round of the tourney. Its sad that even the host country is dead about it and there is no sign of interest among locals.
The rain and D/W method has ruined this WC.
I didn't have any predictions except that Austrailia will win this one as well. Its becoming reality now.
My prediction of Australia is coming through ok at the moment.
I agree smoothguy. with teams like SA, and Pak out of tournament, it is no fun. ICC needs to be changed just like PCB.

btww all teams are still great.. but we lost the excitement cuz of Kenya and Zimbabve qualify for the super six.. and took the place of two major teams of Cricket..

i was gonna say that too.. buttt changez.. dun u think Windies lost their charm few years a ago.. i mean its easy to beat em now.. pehlay jawaid miandad and imaran khan kay zamanay main they ruled the cricket...

Well, I think our team lost a charm too, after WC 99 final. We have been setting our expectations too high from a bunch of "individual talent" with no "team talent". We have been regarding our bowling as one of the most "fiercest" bowling attack, but we couldn't see anything like that in the World Cup'03 and long before that. To conclude, our team performed pathetically, it has been doing so for about an year or more.
But if you look at WI, they really were building up, just like Indian team, but unfortunate rain wash game with Bengladesh lowered their chances.
I think WI will soon get ahead of Pakistani team, if we don't get our acts together.
But there’s still much excitement left buddy!

Yeah France was out but teams like Brazil, Italy and Germany were still there, they are 3 main football nations regardless of their current form.
