Back to the orginal question, never ever put something up on the internet that may come back to haunt you. Don't know if you're aware, a lot of multinationals will look you up on social networking sites to get an idea about the person you are before they hire you. So it's not surprising if an interested family does the same. A lot of us do things when we're young that's immature - that's okay so long as the family is not uber-conservative/uptight. But, there is a difference between immature actions and inappropriate actions which may definitely came back and bite you...
