If you have siblings, do you feel that your parents raised all of you pretty equally?

Or was one of your siblings a bit of a favorite to them and it showed in the way that sibling was treated with comparison to you (and/or other siblings if applicable)?

I think each of the siblings can say they had preferential treatment in some way. Which means it was different but equal generally

There was a world of difference.

I am the eldest. When I was growing up, my parents has just landed in this country, they were students, money was tight, we lived in an apartment. More than just monetary things, parents attention was given on how to make ends meet, saving, settling down in this country, starting and progressing in their careers and moving assets from Pakistan etc.

My younger brother grew up a home with backyard, had his own room, has his own car etc. Parents had more time to go to his soccer games and boy scout meetings.

But the amount of love was the same. I didn't hear that we don't have time for you from them and that mattered the most.

my mum died when i was 9 and my dad when i was 15 but i do remember my dad had a natural inclination towards his first and the last child...my sister being the youngest and my bro the oldest...in those days older brother had all the responsibility on his shoulder so my bro and bhabhi fulfilled and still fulfilling their obligations with LOVE and CARE...it has been 35 for my bro and 25 years for my bhabhi to be looking after ALL of us...they are the kinda siblings one wishes for and thank God i got one. he is a ,big brother, in REAL sense!
