In daily life is there anything which you might claim to be your own invention / thinking ?
One of my friends I saw few days ago was using the insole of his shoes as a mouse pad, and it was working very good.

In university, I devised a new way of solving for some mathematical equations. I showed it to my professor and he said, "Yes! we will study that in blah blah chapter". It made me feel like a cheater in front of him.
