My mom lovvvvvvvvvvvvvves when we get together...all of us.

For her birthday we make sure we do a dinner out or in...cut a cake and gift her something. For her next birthday I think I will propose a family portrait we can frame and give her. She will really appreciate that.

That and time. Parents enjoy time with their kids more than gifts...that's what I've noticed at least. So if I were you, I'd plan a family dinner and gift her something nice as well.

Give her lot of love and as well as buting something create memories. You can take her out for lunch and dinner with siblings. Or have surprise bday lunch and dinner by inviting people she is close to at place of her choice.
SID'S gift of service products is good as is idea of the necklace. Flowers/chocolates are good too.

Make most of it. Cherish every moment.

I feel life is short and unexpected. We can never what is in store. :( :'(
