I love her maybe because I haven't seen her yet either, When I find my mother in law, her every wrong is going to become a right, thats the kind of daughter in law i'm going to be, and they say American born bahus are no good.

Well I hadly see her that often but she is a sweet and polite lady, most generous too. :slight_smile:

She and her Husbad afterall let me marry thier daughter :champ:

I love my mother in law because we don't speak the same languages so she can't harrass me.

  • a wonderful cook
  • a very patient woman
  • thoughtful and reflective
  • interested in a variety of things
  • someone who enjoys the arts -- films, theater, music, etc of a variety of ethnicities
  • an honest and genuine person
  • a woman of faith
  • a loyal woman
  • someone who keeps the big picture in mind

My MIL:

  • treats me as her confidante
  • praises me for little little gestures
  • gives me priority over her own daughters
  • defends me and protects me [even when her son is mad at me]
  • loves my children to death
  • is very encouraging
  • is very enterprising
  • makes friends with people of all cultures
  • volunteers to keep herself busy
  • dresses extremely well, and takes care of herself
  • learned how to email and text message so she can communicate effectively with all of us
  • cooks real well
  • works hard at maintaining a great relationship with my parents [and my parents do the same]
