hazoor sirf jang ka baqaida elan hi kar daity to angreezon ko kabhi fatah hasil nahi hoti. he was lazy man, just sitting on the bed while his subordinates were willing to fight against east indian company.

^ Well millitarily it was not his fault the Mughal empire had ceased to be a millitary power by that time. If only the earlier Tarodars had been allowed to hone thier trade. In the begining Indian guns were far better than anything the British possesd and some guns were superior up till the Industrial era of the 20's.
If you dont hone a technique or weapon then theres no point having it.
Which is why if I could meet Zahir Udeen Mohammad Babur I would tell him, you should have kept Ali Kuli's students in India and written down some of his teachings.

You didn't like the atmosphere of India. Its water, its fruits... You kept on missing gardens of Samarqand & Bukhara and detesting heat of Agra, but not only you but your next generation stayed in India. Kia ye khulla tazad nahin?
