:P even if i dont buy anything i just go and see alll those cheap things and be happy lol...
my mum buys things in bulk from these kinds of places like day to day centre etc because she wants to give out bulk presents to kids that come to her islamic committee meetings and also decorations etc etc etc...
i just go there and observe/watch...
if i do like something i can always get it....

nai yaar its not the case buss he doesnt like to go and search good stuff from there...like u have to search for something good at such shops...not just go grab and pay...but now i wud visit such shops (already have told him in the evening today ) :P and then wud update what i bought..but i dont know any such shops in dubai or sharjah..can someone tell me the place where they r...if i am not wrong i might find them in Deira? plz do inform me...

also, yay to the dollarama stores in toronto! they have the BEST stuff and sometimes, you can't even tell its dollar store things. i love looking for "bargains" there.

i havent found a proper dollar storelike that in ny/nj ( well i havent looked that hard)
the ones i saw mostly have stuff over $1 and very few thats that actually are 1$

Okay reading ya'll talk about these dollar stores is making me sad because the nearest one we have is about an hour away!!! Booohooo.. it's okay, one day.

Where i live alot of ppl shop at dollar stores b/c its a necessity and they cant afford othrewise. so u guys (including myself) count our blessings that its an option and not the ONLY choice...

I love poundshops and before we had any in our town I loved going to the one in my home city of Brum (UK).
As many have said there is may bargains to be had e.g. cheap ceramic dishes which are often £4-5 in mainstream shops.
During the festive period I also pick up giftbags, small presents (and believe me there are some top bargains such as a pink hammer, pink staple gun, pink tool box, pink tax disc holder) as well sweets etc that are fine to eat there just not UK known thus are cheap but still make great gifts for unexpected kids.
I love bargain shopping-we also have B&M and Home Bargains in the UK where you can get many great priced shops. I believe in waste not want not so if I can pay 30% less for an item by shopping at a smaller shop and use the money towards something else I'm happy.
