Do you have painted walls or paper covered walls in your living room? If painted then what colour?

In the living room we have magnolia or a variaration thereof. We're thinking of changing to a very very pale grey but are worried it might make the room look cold.

i don't like the wallpaper borders for some reason. in a kids room it makes sense, but not in like a bedroom or even a living room. seems so countryish.
if i was going for wallpaper i would really go with something muted, pastel with a classical pattern. otherwise paint all the way. it's so much more easier to change the look with paint :D

We have pale beige-y colour too.Would love to experiment with wallpapers,but took so long to decide on a colour that Mr CO just bought this one.
Oh well at least my cushions are nice and bright...

In our old house we had wall paper in every room… it looks nice but is a bit of a headache 
The paper was always peeling no matter what kind of glue we used (or I should say, the guy that put up the wallpaper used). It was due to the heat we were told. Considering we live in the north tundra the heat is on for the majority of the year. My mom couldn’t stand the peeled wallpaper look because it looks so paindu.. so she was forever hiring people to fix it and forever asking people for remedies. Mamma ne shuker kiya jab we moved to the house we are living in now and the walls are either painted or wood panneled.
