I know most of you are parents of little kids, so probably can’t answer this question with the proper experience and knowledge… but do parents ever accept their children as adults? I know many people my age, including myself, who may be marreid, have kids of their own even, their parents still treat them as their babies… but I know some more extreme cases…
Do parents ever accept their children as being adults? being married, having a stable career etc?

Depends on the parents. My parents also treat us like babies esp my dad.

I think my parents treat me more as an adult now that I've been married for so many years and have kids of my own.
I hope I am able to treat my kids as adults when they become adults. I think most of us parents confuse love with being overly protective and irritating :D

oh boy i can't wait for my kids to grow up and yes i will accept them as adults....i promise.
