Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
Theme park!!!. Now THAT (imo) would be a really fun date....though it's not a common choice.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
Oh i think it is. Alot of people even go there on their honeymoon
so yah anything goes
.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
^I think for a honeymoon....it's more common, considering that theme parks....especially major ones like Disney World are common tourist attractions.
But for an aam...regular date...I don't t think it's a common choice. And if a couple does go there (pre-honeymoon)....it's usually not a first-date place. It's something that takes place after a few dates down the road, imo.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
theme park: good choice rv. I would consider bungie jumping or parasailing followed by a dinner an ideal date
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
Ya maybe, i don’t know! ![]()
Too think of it, it wud be a bit odd jumping up and down like a kid while on your first date
but oh well i suppose people get to know each other a little better and be comfortable enough to venture out on a date so it perhaps is not a big deal.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date

Yeh jo aap bol rahi hai woh wild swimming hi hai :p.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
I don’t like public pools…swimming in wild (where no one is around) is modest.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
^LMAO…would you be jumping up and down like a kid if you were at a theme park on a date (even though you don’t do dates)? Or do you think that…despite the excitement you feel about sitting on the rides…you can still manage to conduct yourself in a fairly calm and mature manner? I think it’s possible to have a sense of fun and be animated…without jumping up and down like a kid. ![]()
I like the idea of a theme park because it’s very involved. With a sit-down sort of a date…you’re confined to one place…and there may be awkward moments of silence. Whereas with a theme park…there’s so much going on…you’re frequently moving…so much you can talk about…(the rides, the characters/movies rides are based on, experiences, etc)…and since it’s a fun/silly sort of place…you can let go of your inhibitions…and then there will also be time in between rides…to sit in a nice restaurant and just have a calmer conversation. You get a nice mixture of in terms of mood/ambience. Of course…if the other person also enjoys such an environment…then it works. What is considered the best place for a date will vary for each individual. To each his own.

Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
Well i turn into a kid whenever i go 2 a theme park so ya def won’t be a good idea for me :nono: i’ll be focused on the rides n the poor guy wl feel left out
.
But whatever you said does make sense but only if you are someone who can control the kid in you :D.
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
In the Woods…chasing rabbits and deers, horse riding, foot trail walking, plucking roses, hugging trees and whatnot!![]()
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
My idea of the perfect date:
Late Sunday afternoon, both of us hanging out in the kitchen while I’m cooking us a meal and while he’s playing me his latest creation on his guitar. After the food is done, we go on the rooftop to see the sunset and sit on a white sheet and eat and chitchat about our work week and stuff.
End with chai (made by him, since I can’t make chai to save my life) and us read a book together (either I read out-loud to him or he reads to me. Most likely a john grisham novel, since he’s our favorite author).
That’s all ![]()
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
aww..that’s super romantic ![]()
just a nice movie to watch together, a great meal (either whipped up at home or dinner outside) a walk outside in a slight drizzle and the casual gupshup ending with a yummy dessert ![]()
the simpler the better for me ![]()
Re: Your Idea of a Romantic Date
Would love to just go for a long drive in the country but a candlelight dinner is cool too
I really want to take her to the top of a Green Hill and just sit with her and talk and just talk ![]()
