I have horribly frizzy hair. no matter what hair product i try they stay frizzy unless i use chi’s straightening iron. i have used 4 different straightening iron, and chi is the best one. the irons i used where conaire, Revlon, some ionic iron from sally’s beauty supply, and chi.
recently i have been introduced to chi’s silk infusion, and biosilk’s silk therapy. both are made by same company “Farouk”, and pretty much have same ingredients except alcohol which biosilk contain, and chi doesn’t.
even though chi’s silk infusion didn’t cure my frizzy hair problem, but they were still better then other products i have used so far.
has anyone of u used either of those products? which one would u recommend?
btw, i have really thick, course hair. they are curly, but due to the frizz my curls are just a frizzy mess.
…what is your fav. hair product? please mention your hair type.
I use Biosilk and LOVE it. I have fine hair which tends to get frizzy too.
I stay religiously alway from heat for my hair though, except on special occassions. (In other words, I air dry my hair unless I need to straighten it for some event).
When I use Biosilk, it tames the frizziness and I end up with waves and curls instead (but only when I airdry).
ztwinn. i hardly every blow dry my hair. i *almost ALWAYS let me air dry.
i wear hijab so i only use straightening iron when there is a girls party, or if i just get sick of frizzy hair. and that is usualy once in a month or even less.
did u nottice biosilk drying ur hair over time? i heard in few reviews that at first it works great but over time it dries out the hair. is that ture?
I've been using it for years and haven't really noticed that issue. I apply it when my hair is wet however and I think that helps to 'seal' in the moisture.
But I would love to try Chi's Silk Infusion and see if it makes a difference. Do you know where they sell it?
Sigh I rock at makeup, but with hair - I am usually pretty lost. So Biosilk has been great for me coz it's pretty low maintenance. :)
Sounds like you and I have the same hair type and hair regimen too!

i bought silk infusion from ulta, or from jcpenny's saloon. i would suggest u to go to a low end saloon they sell it cheaper.
