You got married ( arranged) and you make you hasband a sandwich and to your surprise he eats it like one eats roti and salan , pretty much abusing the poor sandwich.
How would you resolve this issue, keeping in mind that he is very egoistic? His manly ego would be hurt if you point that out for him.

I know a couple should try and sort their own problems, but I think here maybe its time to get the parents involved.

Involve the MIL. That should pretty much be your go-to move. She will be an invaluable source of wisdom regarding her son.
If nothing else, you can Skype in the nude with him. Wait...what was the question again?

The next time he requests a "sammich," I will just give him roti and salan. And then I'll watch him......as he places the salan on the roti and rolls it up into a sandwich. =/
