Boromir sprawled down gasping for last breath, his chest filled with Orc arrows.

Eowyn rushes outside, disgusted and full of despair. The theme music playing in the background, you feel like there’s no hope left. Rohan house flag rips and drops away near Aragorn riding in marking the country’s sorry state.
Helm’s deep battle scenes
Return of the King*
Faramir: “But if I should return, think better of me father”
Denethor: “That depends on the manner of your return.”
Pippin singing a really sad song while Faramir and a small cavalry charge back to Osgiliath towards obvious death.
Legolas takes down an entire oliphant. Gimli goes “That still counts as one!”
Btw, has anyone read The Silmarillion? I bought the book a couple years ago, but everytime I sit down to read it, I get lost after the first two pages
Gollum: "We wants it, we needs it. Must have the Precious."
Gollum: "They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!"
Sméagol: "No! No! Master!"
Gollum: "Yes. Precious first. They will cheat you, hurt you, lie!"
Sméagol: "Master's my friend."
Gollum: "You don't have any friends. Nobody likes you."
Sméagol: "Not listening. Not listening."
Gollum: "You're a liar, and a thief."
Sméagol: "No."
Gollum: "Murderer!"
Sméagol: "Go away."
Gollum: "Go away?!" (Laughs.)
Sméagol: "I hate you, I hate you!"
Gollum: "Where would you be without me? (gollum gollum). I saved us. It was me. We survived because of me!"
Sméagol: "Not anymore."
Gollum: "What did you say?"
Sméagol: "Master looks after us now. We don't need you."
Gollum: "What?"
Sméagol: "Leave now and never come back."
Gollum: "No!"
Sméagol: "Leave now and never come back!"
Gollum: "Argh!"
Sméagol (emphatically): "Leave now and never come back!"
Sméagol: "We told him to go away! And away he goes Precious. Gone, gone, gone, Sméagol is free!"
And
Treebeard: "War, yes. It affects us all. But you must understand, young hobbit. It takes a long time to say anything in old Entish, and we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say."
Every scene with Gollum in it was wicked and treebeard, he was something else altogether.
LOTR ROTK..One which i remember from a time when I was feeling blue:
Frodo: [voiceover] How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on... when in your heart... you begin to understand... there is no going back? There are some things that time cannot mend. Some hurts that go too deep... that have taken hold.
From Fellowship Of The Ring, one of my favorite exchanges between Aragorn and pensive Boromir:
Aragorn: "Take some rest. These borders are well protected."
Boromir: "I will find no rest here. I heard her voice inside my head. She spoke of my father and the fall of Gondor. She said to me, 'Even now, there is hope left.' But I cannot see it. It is long since we had any hope."
Boromir: "My father is a noble man, but his rule is failing. And now our… our people lose faith. He looks to me to make things right and I — I would do it. I would see the glory of Gondor restored."
Boromir: "Have you ever seen it Aragorn? The White Tower of Ecthelion, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver. Its banners caught high in the morning breeze. Have you ever been called home by the clear ringing of silver trumpets?"
Aragorn: "I have seen the White City, long ago."
Boromir: "One day, our paths will lead us there. And the tower guard shall take up the call: "'The Lords of Gondor have returned!'"
