Re: your god my god

Seminole I did that to annoy verizon. He’s been at me to answer in this thread, and I have not been feeling up to it. But here you are, me back to serious mode. You chicken, can’t even decide on which side to take.
Anyway the existence of God can never be proved as we prove a physical object. That much is obvious - for all of us - or so I hope. For a physical object we would use our five (God given) senses. However, we can’t do that with God. He is a Transcendental Being.
The people who argue that the only form of knowledge we humans can ontain is experimental or that which we can experience (obtained by our senses) goes to say that it is all about here and now. If we continue with this belief, there is no point in seeking for “real” answers behind what “seems to be” as it is beyond our understanding.
Thus I think it is possible for a Being to exist of which we can not understand based on our five senses.
Just because you have not seen it or felt it or heard it, does not mean it can’t exist. Our senses are very limited, and so are our powers to reason - so it is possible for us to not understand “everything” .
Dont kid yourself (“He’s been at me to answer in this thread”) One PM and two posts are not at me. The reason I wanted to hear your view was becasue of a statement that you made in post #7 I just wanted to see how you derived to that conclusion or was it another weak attempt at humor. It turns out it was neither. Thats all. Now shooo away.
