How did you spend it? What did you buy your other half? What did you receive?
My first anniversary is coming up, so just curious to hear what everyone else did?

We had a party! I brought in similar elements and colours as at our wedding. I wore my mom's sari from like 25 years ago including the blouse she hand-stitched for herself way back when! Awesomeness.

We had a family event, both sides of our families plus some close friends were invited and because we have a large family mA it became a major event. Had BBQ by my FIL(who does it best) plus regular desi food.
He gave me a gold anklet and chose a lovely dress for me, I didn't get him anything :D

Woke up in the morning and hubby had a dozen fresh roses sitting at my bed side table. We went out for a nice relaxing dinner and a movie. He didn't want anything so I gave him the option of getting whatever he wanted.. and he got me a coach bag.
Our plan is to have a big 5th anniversary.. we wanna have a huge wedding anniversary theme party.. hopefully we'll be able to have that dream come true insallah ;)

NOT YET, il be 8months preg when it happens, so cant really have a party-but seeing as you guys recieved roses and dinners and gold....hmmmmmmm got me thinking cap on...he will be dead meat if he doesnt get anything.although i did ask him jokingly
mujhe gift kay denge on our 1st anniversary...
his reponse was ` insaan bano, gift ki bachi,.....!!!! of course he also said it jokingly...il kill him if he meant it...

he had booked us a room in a local hotel and we stayed and dined there for a day...it was so funny that we came back home for changing,etc the next morning since that was a surprise and I had only an overnight diaper supply for my son in his bag :D
