Just curious…ladies if you have a question about your periods, what’s the first place you turn to for advice/explanation? Your mother/an elder sister? internet? a health professional?

Health queries are usually directed towards my mom and dad as they are docs, next, my doc, or if it isnt urgent then webMD or mayo clinic online, or the hospital I go to online.

If I asked my mom about my period or anything, she’d say “SARA…Internet te jaa k weikh! ya daktar te kol jaa k puch!” 
Any other “health” query, “main tenu kinni dafa kaa apna khayal rakh KYU MENU TENSHUN DEN DI EN”

When I was younger they were directed towards my father who is a doctor.Then I learned to ‘troubleshoot’ myself ,look up in textbooks and now the internet helps too.If it is about me and something not too seroius,I am one of those who avoid going to a doctor
