Your first air travel trip?

I know it sounds like a school essay but lets hear out real life experiences. How did it go? Did you do anything funny? Did you get scared?

Exciting as hell....I was like 7 and my first visit to Pakistan.

oh i loved it but i was so scared of the plane and i was travelling alone from Lahore to Heathrow…

i wish i could understand british accent back then, two gora immigrant/security officers kept saying something about my eyes but i just couldn’t get it. :bummer:

**OMG, i was so excited and at the same time i was so scared. i was 20 years old and i had not flown ever in my life. i am an Indian but can u believe that my first flight was with PIA [Pakistan International Airlines] and my first destination outside india was Karachi where i stayed for 3 days before continuing on to Toronto.

since i was immigrating to Canada, i was also very concerned that what will happen to me or my off-springs religiously.

my flight was after maGhrib and it was a FULL moon night. i was scared when the plane raced down the runway. i closed my eyes and clinched the armrest. once off the ground safely, i saw the moon…it looked a lil bit BIGGER :wink: :cb:]…the dinner was served and i LOVED it…especially the dessert! our plane landed safely in Karachi and i met some of my cousins whom i had never even seen, just heard about them. my stay in Karachi was a memorable one and i enjoyed every minute of it…i wish i had at least a week’s stay.**

Oh and I assumed the plane was going extremely slow so asked my dad if I could go out and give it a little push, help it on its way. Lol.

i was only 6 dont remember but only remember this thing that me n my bro played a lot in lifts at air port :)

My trip was from karachi to islamabad and i was around 21.

Oh i don’t even remember, i have travelled just so much as a kid for me to remember which one was my first trip! :bummer:

BUT i just recently had a flight back alone and it was my very first time so it was kinda fun though everyone else esp an uncle of mine was acting as if i was going in a war field :eek: lols. I thought it was hilarious when he instructed someone at the airport that no guy should be seated next to me :smack:.

Oh and I must add i really have had great travelling experiences :slight_smile: For some reason i was really pampered on the flights and given loads n loads of gifts :eek:. Once i got a big bag filled with just so many stuff toys and cute little things given by the air crew that everyone around got super jealous :smiley: I probably still have one of those stuff toys saved up in my old stuff :).

I used to travel alot from lhr to isb and back when I was young. I think I was around 4 or 5 when I travelled by a plane for a the first time. I don't recall if I was scared. But I was very excited. And PIA people were good to the kids too and they used to give lots of goody bags and colouring books and stuff too :D

I actually prefer Sea travel - Imagine for a moment that you are on the deck of a ship, sipping a glass of fill it with your favorite drink] - You turn your head towards the water JIT to spot a pod of dolphins swimming by and after lingering in the sunshine for a while, it's time to head inside for a 3-course evening meal and a splash in the pool before retiring to bed.

Air travel cant match a bit of that plus I also hate plan crashes and crosswind landings :(

I was a baby, 5-6 months old, I think, going to the motherland for the first time, after being born in walayat. Alas, I do not remember it!

i traveled the first time when i was too little and even if i did something silly it wud have cute.
