Re: Your favourites to win World Cup

Pakistan, all the way, InshALLAH :jhanda:

Re: Your favourites to win World Cup

It depends on what team Pakistan selects. With Misbah, Hafeez, Afridi in the playing 11 (as 2 Primary bat and your Allrounder) - there is not much you can do to win the WC. They are not talented like that. If Pakistan ends up making the semis, it would be a major achievement.

Favorites would be (1) Sri Lanka (2) Australia (3) India

Pakistan. (duh)

Or

England or New Zealand.

Re: Your favourites to win World Cup

NZ had a wonderful run in 1992 W.C

Re: Your favourites to win World Cup

The one and only triumphant Pakistan. :k:

I had watched that match live on T.V and it was a great match to watch.I still remember Mindad asking Inzi to play off-side shots by pointing out gaps there. It was the dominant Miandad who stood there like a fatherly figure and took Pakistan to the shores of victory, not to forget the innings played by Inzi.

Let me tell you,1992 World Cup,I still remember each and every match I watched and no World Cup/Tournament cuts a theme as colorful as 1992 World Cup in my mind.It is still a mystery for me.I still feel that it happened yesterday.

Nostalgia…
