Please list some good Urdu novels to read…I have read few from Razia Butt a very long time ago and they were amazing read…it would be nice to read something more recent from her. What other authors do you receommend?

If you like historical fiction then you can read Naseem Hijaazi.
My favourite Naseem Hijaazi novels are:
Shaheen
Aakhri Chattan
Qaiser o Kisra
Muhammad bin Qasim
If you like hard core literature then you can go for literary greats like Raja Gidh, Aag ka Dariya, Udaas Naslain…
If you like classical literature you can read Miraat ul Aroos, Firdaus e Bareen, Maidan e Amal etc.
