There are lots n lots of places and it depends on mood. From modern restaurants to dhabas.. love all these ;)

EATON Rolls (DHA)
Noorani Kebab House (Near Tariq Road, best BBQ)
Shaheen Shinwari (Gulshan)
Al Habib (Super Highway - Good place and nice food)
Al Harmain (Near Millennium Mall)
Anwar Baloch (Near Quaid-e-Abad, Malir - Awesomest food)
Neharis..... Javed Nihari (FB Area), Mulla Nehari (PIB Colony), Zahid Nehari (Tariq Road - they have best nalli nehari), Rabban Nehari (Malir)
Al-Asif Square (Best Afghani Khana and their kehwa.. awesome)
Pizza Parlor (Model Colony, their pizzas are easily comparable with expensive restaurants)
Karachi University P.G canteen.. can't forget time spent there.
and many many more places which I can't remember right now. I enjoy food from all those places :D

my most fav dhaaba has been the one across the road from Ziauddin Hospital in Shireen Jinnah Colony, we used to go there every day after college

Patriot bhai, Student Biryani pata nahi kion mash’hoor hai, its very ordinary IMHO.. us se achi to hamari taraf thailay walay ke pas hoti hai..

sahee.. abhi kuch din pehle wahan se white chicken karhai order ki magur wo pata nahi kia le aaya.. white to kaheen se bhee nahi lag rahi thi wo..lol.. full time masalay daar thi
