your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

Re: your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

DId not know dilip kumar acted in this son - Om Prakash is also hilarious

Re: your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

**YES, Om Prakash always impressed me with his serious acting…he played great roles as a big brother or as a father…who can forget his role as “Sadhu Ram” in the movie MeHmood’s “Sadhu aur Shaitan”. ****a GREAT actor, INDEED who played emotional/comedy roles equally extremely well!!!

here, he is seen with another Bollywood Comedy Legend, MeHmood, in the movie “Pyar Kiye Jaa”…ENJOY!!!**

Yes - the genius of AR Rehman. And Mani Ratnam (director) - AR Rahman combo was superb. Mani Ratnam tackled lot of issues ahead of his time. (I think this was a Ratnam directed movie also - not sure)

Re: your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

I equally like the version sung by Lata Ji

Re: your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

Yeah uncle it was directed by Mani and Music was by AR Rehman

Re: your favourite Evergreens/Oldies (black and white or color)

Yes the movie ‘Dil se’ was directed by Mani Ratnam and like always music by AR Rehman did wonders. AR Rehman also gave music for Mani Ratnum’s ‘Roja’,‘Bombay’, ‘Yuva’, ‘Sathiya’ ‘Guru’ and ‘Rawan’ and the result:

(From Roja)

(From Bombay)

(From Dil se- My favourite)

(From Sathiya)

(From Yuva)

(From Guru)

(From Ravan)

Heard this in W-11 in college days.

Yes - indeed - I think both Mani Ratnnam and AR Rahman made 2+2 = 9. Nice collection - the Guru Tere Bina is so out of this world in its creativity. Lot of these movies were made in Tamil first, and the songs sound very good in both languages.
