So who are your favourite English poets of all time? I totally love the work of William Wordsworth, the man was a legend, I especially enjoy his poems Composed Upon Westminister Bridge and I Wandered as Lonely as a Cloud. Also I really like Charlotte Smith’s Sonnet, To Melancholy, Written on the Banks of the Arun, Oct 1785, William Blake, esp Songs of Innocence and of course John Keats La Belle Dae Sans Merci, I love the writings of Romantic poets from that era.
