Benefit's Porefessional and Clinique's instant pore minimizer, clearly I have a pore problem but these two work very well!

I use smash box hd primer…
I tried monist at chafing gel b/c people said it gave the same feel… However, makeup didn't last as long with that.

I've tried smashbox, MAC, eve pearl, NARS but they did nothing for my dry skin. Lancôme La base pro on the other hand worked wonders! It's so smooth n silky, foundation glides on n stays put for best part of the day.

You will love Laura Mercier's primer Tanya, it's one of my faves it gives my foundation a 'velveteen' finish and keeps my skin really hydrated. Love Benefits' Porefessional, Two-Faced Primed and Poreless, Smashbox is excellent (it's Teflon based and fills-in pores, wrinkles).

I'm currently loving Guerlain's L'or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold. Can't say much about it filling in wrinkles but adds a beautiful glow while keeping the skin hydrated!! Love it!!

NARS pore refining primer is my go for a while now! It holds up my foundation all night. I absolutely love it.
have tired so many other in the past such as benefit/smashbox photo finish, didn't work out for my oily skin so well :/
I want to try the Kryloan HD primer. anyone tried it yet?

i've tried smashbox (didn't like it)...moved on to benefit's porefessional, and that worked beautifully at first, but now that i've regularly been doing peels at home, my skin type has changed and is no longer oily as it used to be..it's veering more towards dry. The last few times i've used the benefit primer, i've had dry patches everywhere!!! so maybe now i need to moisturize well first, before using the primer?

Moisturize well - absolutely.
Have you tried Hourglass yet khatti? That's also a really good one.

Laura Mercier, it's the BEST for dry skin. I've heard great things about using Milk of Magnesia as a primer for oily skin as well. I switch between my Benefit, Laura and Smashbox depending on how my skin behaves.

I have a kind of stupid question: Is it possible to wear only primer and no foundation? Is there any benefit? Would it be obvious that there is primer on the skin? Does it even skin tone at all when used alone? Also, does primer clog pores? Ok that's like 5 questions, sorry.

Sec i also knw answer that muslima hv asked. Caz i hv combi skin open pore and uneven. So i want very light coverage thng.

Muslimah, the Porefessionals (Benefit) is said to make your open pores look less noticeable over time.

My skin can be oily at times and then fine. If you go to a clinque counter they can help get the right one for you. They'll ask you a couple of questions and then find one that matches your skin type

I keep forgetting to use a primer. The only one i've ever tried is the one from MAC.
