Yep, me too. The original was interesting in a disturbing sort of way.
Also, Rumplestiltskin. The girl in that was evil to poor Rumpy.

Haha, Rumplestiltskin came to mind as well. But I remember going through a mermaid phase as a kid. There’s a sort of haunting/enchanting quality to the story.
