Re: your favorite cookbook?
I have bought quite a few in my life but I dun like to cook and can't cook to save my life.. I thought all those books n pics may fascinate me but nah!
I also went ahead and made a book from all the recipes that I had tried and tested from GS which is absolutely my favorite and now tahts all I use if I ever cook!
off topic but the worst cook book I ever bought was Chef Zakir's cookbook for Rs. 750 in Pakistan.. I really liked his recipes on TV so I thought book will be useful but just a waste of money! out of 40 pages, 20 of them are ads (exaggerating I know but it feels that way)!!!
Re: your favorite cookbook?
Can't remember the title. And even worse...I can't find it either. The author was Shahzad Husain. Tried a couple of recipes and they turned out well.

oh that's great.
Re: your favorite cookbook?
oh yeah I got it spiral bound and even had the content page.. at the end I added lots of blank pages and I have written down a few recipes from TV in there!!!
My sister has a 3 ring binder recipe book and she just adds in her favorite recipes (the most favorite ones go in the plastic cover as well) for her 4 boys to use n cook for her when she is old :D
Re: your favorite cookbook?
^lol...that's cute. I always wanted to make my own recipe book too containing all the recipes passed down from generation to generation in our family.
Re: your favorite cookbook?
I ordered "Recipes from the Heart of the Home" by Nigella Lawson today. I'd tell you guys if it's good or not after reading and trying some recipes.
