Is it laughing cow or babybel?
Re: Your favorite cheese snack
Neither are a favorite, but Laughing Cow. I prefer cheese melted or spreadable.
Re: Your favorite cheese snack
so I take that you are not a cheesy person. ![]()
Re: Your favorite cheese snack
I love cheese…I’m just picky about it. Not a fan of cheese cubes and crackers or even eating cheese by itself.
This thread reminds me of Rupayhalwa. Woman was obsessed with cheese and crackers…and not at all cheesy…had good sense of humor.
Your favorite cheese snack
Laughing cow yummmmm
Laughing cow!!!
My fave processed cheese has to be the canned kraft one they sell in Arab stores. It should be a up there in the contenders.

Re: Your favorite cheese snack
Puck, Kraft and the cheese cubes was we have grown up with in Jeddah. Coming back to Pakistan and getting distant from quality cheese was one of our grieves of so many others when we relocated. Not to forget the Bugels which we were so fond of, the cheeseballs of local company in KSA. We missed all that in our initial 2-3 yrs in Pakistan. Al Fateh and HKB however had some of these items like kraft cheese etc but cheeseballs we used to kiss, however with passage of time we became habitual and also stopped missing many things. Bugels even not available in Australia, in my recent trip to US i had them however have learned to live with them so much that even on hajj i did not think to have those few months back.
However I like Cheesecake and I like Puck or kraft cheese over the lightly warmed slice, And i still like the cheeseballs :D.
Re: Your favorite cheese snack
I grew up in Saudi too, but wasn’t crazy about Bugles.
Re: Your favorite cheese snack
^ Yup me neither; we did however devour the cheeseballs (bofak)? I think?
Man those were some good days; only worried about junk food and watching cartoons ![]()

Re: Your favorite cheese snack
LOL. Brings back memories!!! I thought my family were the only ones that called em poofak. There was a tiny grocery store about 3 minutes away from our apartment that would see small packs of cheese curls (not balls) that displayed a Mickey Mouse or other cartoon character on the front. Some people would call the cheese curls Nasma, but it was poofak for us. There was also a brand of cheeseballs that came in a white package with a cartoony logo…maybe it was Mr. Cheeseball? I dunno…But I didn’t like em. I preferred the American brand. I don’t know if you’d remember these potato chips that came in a green pack called Salad Snack. They were thinly sliced sticks meant to taste like a salad.
