wat they hav online is too wetsern for me.do they hav more traditional n decent dresses in actual showroom?n how much each dress costed u?Do they stitch on order as well?
Mabrook, they do have a good selection in stores.. but then out of 300, I liked only four so that shows not all of them were Eastern or something normally ppl wear..in fact all of them were sleeveless but I wanted long sleeves which wasn't a problem for them and it was taken care of in two days.
I think the loswet price was RS. 3,000( very less kam on the shirt) and the highest I paid for was Rs. 6,800(again not a lot of kam though) and yes you can bargain too, or probably my mom is just good at bargaining. :D
I dunno about stitching an order, never asked about it.

Maria B has two shops. One in Defence and one in Gulberg.
I went to the Gulberg one and honestly i did not like what i saw. Maybe out of 400 suits i liked 2. And they too were sleeveless.
Khair, i saw nothoing under 8 thousand rupees. and that too was very very little kaam.
The stuff i liked was around 24 thousand rupees.
Sonia Azhar does good work.
I went to this designer in Muslim Town. She works on a smaller scale and does excellent work. I ordered about 12 suits but she was only able to make 2 in 4 weeks because she just had a baby.
I will post pics of the 2 in my journal later.

Mahru is right.. It took me long to find what I liked but again customer service was good and alterations were great so I have bought a few more from there.. you just have to have loads of time on your hands to go through almost every design to find something you may like.
by the way, we did bargain back in 2005 and prices were not that high for outfits that I bought since it didn't have much kam on it, almost nothing. :D

Well, i think designers cannot remain fav. all the time as their creations are not always according to what you like. But Karma is one of my fav. label. Plus, recently i've been on this site nidaali dot come and loved her clothes. The good thing about her is that her prices are reasonable as compared to already established designers who charge an arm and a leg just for their name.

i loved the bandini theme he did with a recent bride named kiran for her mendhi outfit and loved the bridal work he did with her and her family members:
we never get to see such designer work here in texan weddings typically so i’m totally jealous of those of yall that get to see and shop in these places or better yet attend their shows.
i had never seen or heard of her but after viewing her website i do like her stuff, thanks for posting the link!
