one of the feature that i love is email alias which means your email address has lots of aliases that you can even imagine
lets say my email id is [email protected] which means that [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] are also mine email addresses (gmail doesn’t count . for username)
secondly I any email sent to [email protected] will also come to my inbox. email addressed to [email protected] will also come to my inbox .. email like [email protected] will aslo come to my inbox.
so what i can do i can filter emails based on the “TO” field and can apply labels.
lets say, while registering on GS i entered this email ID
[email protected]
in gmail, I can apply filter as
- Any email which has TO: [email protected]
- Apply Label: GS
- Skip Inbox
will automatically filtered and archived in the label named GS

Since I can interface all of them to my MS Outlook. I am indifferent and have account with all of the free email services in addition to one with my own domain which I give out to very very close friends. So no junk mail and no spam can hit that mailbox.

so what if you want to check your email ad you don’t have your outlook (laptop, system) with you? emm .. you will log on to the old style domain email address to read emails .. right?
why don’t u just configure your domain email into your GMail ? one place for all

Never ever had been in a situation where I needed to check email and I did not have my laptop with me. So I am good for now. Whenever I will feel the need I will do that.

It totally went over my head :p. Seriously!
What i understood was that if my email id is : [EMAIL=“[email protected]”][email protected] (how lame, i know :p), other ids like [EMAIL=“princess.gs@gmail”]princess.gs@gmail, [EMAIL=“[email protected]”][email protected], etc wud be mine too. Huh? doesnt sound very right to me. lolz.

lets stick to one thing at a time .. ..
so lets say you have email id “[email protected]” (I know its lame). so your other email ids are
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
.. goes on
[email protected]
you can put DOT or DOTS anywhere in your email id and it will still remain your ID. so try this one first, then i will explain you the other stuff .. ..
from your some other email id .. try to send emails to [email protected] with random dots in random positions ..

^ yes it does. but thats how GMail is .. .. ..
its the same as some email services does not accept “_” in their email address
and some doesn’t accept “-” in email addresses .. ..

so if your id is [email protected] ..
then
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
are same .. ..
however, the thing you are trying to add up custom TAG it should be added with “+” sign
