i HATE wearing sunscreen, either it leaves my face sticky (i swear i feel insects sticking to my face .. THAT sticky), or a white film forms over my face ..eww… i have yet to find one that i like.
and then there is the whole chemical vs physical sunscreen debate
Neutrogena ultra sheer. It absorbs in my skin completely.
I'm also using PETER THOMAS ROTH Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense because I got it in a kit. It also absorbs quite well.
Someone told me that shiseido has a good one which doesn't leave a white cast or is greasy and works really really well. haven't tried it myself but my friend recommended it to me, so gonna try it out
I had the SHESEIDO one ( came in a blue bottle) and it was extremely greasy, made me look like a bhootni because it was so white ( and Im fair skinned) and also made me break out like anything:teary1:
This is my new holy grail. SPF 30, zinc oxide content is 19%, its light weight, absorbs into skin very quickly, no greasy feeling, and leaves NO white cast.
I quite like Eminence Sun Defense Minerals’s powdered sunscreen. I love that it’s not greasy and can be reapplied throughout the day. I’ve been wearing it by itself as foundation for my day to day look lately.
OP - I have the exact same problem as you. Every sunscreen I have tried leaves me greasy, sticky, and covered in white stuff. It got to the point where I stopped wearing sunscreen on my face for a few years! Really bad I know!
I decided I am through with putting sunscreen on my face and have opted for a facial moisturizer that contains sun protection in it.
I recently bought Etival Hydra Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30. This lotion is SO light weight and glides on so easily and absorbs very fast into your skin. It is NOT thick and goopy at all. I love IT. It literally feels like you aren't wearing anything.
Avene - I love it.
It covers up to 50spf and is very light. You can even mix it with your foundation or moisturizer and it doesn't feel sticky or heavy on the skin.
That’s too bad works fine for me, I’ve fortunately never broke out due to using it. You just have to try various products to find which ones works for you.
