Your living in UK/America/Pakistan and its the age for you to get married. One of your father’s childhood friend is a women with whom he lost contact for many years. Rediscovering each other on Facebook, they rekindle their friendship and your father later arranges for you to marry his friends oldest daughter/son. You get married, have an awesome wedding, and go live in a joint-family household. Months later, you unknowingly come across your dad and discover that the close friendship has turned into a full blown affair. Your spouse sees you distraught and you tell him/her everything.

The story is of relatives of a friend of a friend - someone from the sikh community and it goes along the same lines as you described, except one parent was divorced and the other parent was a widower and what happened when everyone lived together as one big happy family....
