How has it grown/changed over the years? what have you done differently and what affects has it had on your life now ?
For me , I was a total doomer in the clothes section and even worse on the skincare or cosmetic end … the change started coming when i moved to the boarding and saw girls pick styles even while picking uniforms :hinna: … I started realizing the various fashion statements … then when i started professional work , I got into day to day makeup , different styles … and finally marriage changed me , it gave me that extra push … I met with ladies , very well dressed , very graceful… and I think my fashion dress changed from wearing light and dull colors to wearing bright colors and lighter makeup
I feel that with time my style has totally changed for the better. I'm so glad that i've gotten rid of the horrible makeup I used when I was 18,19. I wish I experimented more with my hair too but I guess it's never too late. My hair used to be all over the place and I never did anything to tame it.
I like getting compliments from people on my clothes, shoes and makeup. I try not to repeat the same outfit or style. I guess that's a good thing because you kinda look different everytime.
Uh..i hadnt been into makeup for a long time. My wardrobe was good thanks to my mom, but that was about it. The girlish genes stretched out only some 3-4years ago when i started using kajal and eye liner.
I think my fashion sense has changed in that I don't buy as many clothes as I used to and I'm over the whole "it must have a label" phase of my life. I think when you're younger you feel the need to impress everyone around you or to stand out with your clothes.
In terms of make-up I've toned down my eye make-up a lot during the daytime compared to when I was a student. Now I save my smokey eyes/wacky colour combinations for when I go out in the evenings!
keeps on changin everyday lol..i know weird..but i've always been very trendyn into makeup n all..im big into accessories n shoes..n i love to experiment ...love bright colors dont shy away from them..oh n i'm very much into manis pedis if im not wearing french tips i keep em polished :)
I want to say something I hope you guys don't wear black 24/7 :( I have a friend who used to wear the colour all the time until everyone started encouraging her to wear colours. There are so many nice colours out there. We need to embrace them! :)
I used to only wear black eyeshadow! And it wasnt because i was goth or anything like that. I think it was more because I didn't know how to do makeup and i had black eyeshadow so thats what i wore everyday. But thanks to my friends who go on my case about it, I now use different color eyeshadows. They are still mostly neutrals, nothing overwhelming but nothing black.
I have also discovered how great it is to own a good mascara.
I have never been a fashionista, but I have come to know over the years what things look good on me and what does not. Like, I only look good in structured clothing, nothing too loose or baggy.
I dont know if there are any people out there who had a great sense of fashion when they were in their teens … most of us look back at our photos then and think , God , what got into us
But I think , its very important that girls and guys get groomed from their childhood ..not necessarily in highstreet fashion or cosmetic sense , but generally .. coz fashion sense has alot to do with ones own satisfaction and self esteem …
