I have both wooden and plastic, also use seperate for meat and veggies or fruits.. and always clean them with anti-bacterial spray afterwards.

Those of you who use wooden ones ... how do you dry it ? coz i tried using one for a few months but them got rid of it .. It would just not dry out completely ...and it was really heavy to use as well ...
we simply air dry it. Just leave it out on the counter and it should dry up in couple of hour.

We have wood and plastic...the plastic one is for fast cutting jobs and the wooden one is for everything else.
I dont think I have ever had a problem drying it though...
