Yes, I for once need your help.

I need to know the names of the top universities in Islamabad. The old man wants me to go and check them out to see if I might wanna study there. Yes English Babu Pakiland Mein.

So please the top (and i mean top) universites in Islamabad. Facilities are supposedly as good as in England so show me what you got. And ones that have some foreign students aswell and are preferably linked to some english universities. Only name I’ve got so far is Preston University

ISB hmmmmm i fink Perston would be best for him if there IBA or CBM then put that old uncle there atleast he will be kind a awara after when he will completz his study :p

Cetainly LUMS and IBA must be tried and look after for management courses.

for technology and science courses Quaid-e-Azam university Isl. can be a good option.

for MBBS Aga Khan University Khi, along with King Edward College Lhr. and Dow University Khi. can be very good options.

For Engineering Degrees NUST is certainly a very nice place to study.

very few good places but that doesnt mean we dont have ANY !!

LUMS IBA NUST stands for....... Please expand. Thanks for your help. What about the best uni's for mathematics degree.

LUMS= Lahore University of Management Sciences, in Lahore

IBA = Institute of Bisness Administration, in Karachi

NUST= National University Of Science & Technology, in Rawalpindi and Karachi. (also in lhr. if i am not wrong)

Quaid-e-Azam Unversity, Punjab and Karachi Universities are also good universities not forgeting the PEshawar university which is certainly going very high in some of the offered courses.

Thanks. I'm only interested in the uni's in Islamabad\Pindi. So I have to check out Preston, Quaid-e-Azam and NUST.

For mathemiatics.....check out quaid e azam university-----university for arid agriculture...i think they have mathematics department.....and if you are khatoon tu chekc out fatima jinnah university...

Nust is also a good choice....dont ever think about doing some course from preston....

^ yeah I think Preston is a private university and not many universities in private sector are credible enough.

QAU is by far the best University in Islamabad and one of the premier institutes in all of Pakistan. I've met quite a few people who've completed their business and economics studies from there and they've done pretty well for themselves.

Preston is a farce, QAU and NUST are the ones you should aim for. Since you are interested in math, then NUST would be the better option.

^ I wouldn’t be able to compare the Math depts. at NUST and QAU, but I thought you wouldn’t be able to pursue a Math degree at NUST by itself, but as part of an Engineering degree.

Whats wrong with Preston anyway?
And has QAU got proper modern facilities and living quarters to compare with western unis? I'm a bit spoilt you see.
