Chip : mine just calls them bacha, bachi, larka or larki. Usually he just asks their names ince he starts to play with the kids.... Maybe teach her to asknames of ppl?

hmm interesting..
with non-desis, i just use their first name of if its like a teacher, than a Mr, Ms or Mrs go infront of it.
With desis, depending on my relationship with the person, they are either called Khala so and so or Mamoo so and so... Otherwise, we just stick with Aunty and Uncle.
As for direct relations, they are called Khala/Khaloo, Chachoo/Chachi, Mamoo/Maami... etc
