**channel 4 are launching a new show in the upcoming months, looking for budding young actors/actresses oping to m,ake it big in bollywood.
it’s basically a show a bit like a Pop Idols where prospective actors/actresses audition, a small group is selected, then they are flown to India, have some more tests and tuitions, and the final one(s) will work with film producer Karan Johar (srk’s best mate)!!!
Radio 1’s Bobby Friction is to help pick the next big Bollywood actor.
He’ll be one of the judges on a new Channel 4 show called ‘Bollywood star’ next year, and the winner will win a Bollywood movie deal.
The first auditions will pick 20 hopefuls who can dance in the Bollywood style, using a mix of bhangra and hip-hop moves, and lip-synch their way through songs in English and Hindi.
Six finalists will then get to travel to India to be styled and trained to dance and act properly.
