I am sure some of you celebrate 14th of August going to melas and having fun there but I am also sure some of you celebrate it at home with family and friends. And I am positive that those who celebrate it at home cook a brilliant and chat pati meals.

Chorni , I made koftay and pea pilau 
.. I was a loner this independence day , so I just had a romantic meal all by myself , me , my tanhai, my mithai ,my pilau the candle and me again

I made sara's buttered Chicken for all me family, and I put in to much Salt :(

Mr Halwa and I dined out in a Pakistani restaurant (not in honour of independence, just coincidental). Strange to see that there were no pakistani flags or bunting, not even a special independence day menu, however food was good:

I had Chicken Pulaow, Aalo Gosht, Chicken Sajjii, koftaye and Kheer....as had guests at my place :D
We didn't make anything special in honor of August 14th either.
I made myself some pizza when I came home....just spread tomato sauce on whole wheat pita and sprinkled cheese.
My mom had made a small pot of cholay.
And my sister made creamy pasta with shrimp.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh…shub kaam mein deyri nahi kerni chahiye

i wrote a reply with answers to everyone’s comments and when i clicked the reply button my internet died so everything vanished 
as for me, it wasn’t special we were out all day for random things and at home just had daal chaawal and ammi made aloo ke parathay

We dined out so no pics of dinner..
